Volunteer
We are initiating a once a month volunteer night to introduce the program to those of you who would like to be more involved and possibly help us out! It will be the last Tuesday of every month.
Some of our current volunteer needs are:
1. Administrative help in putting together our databases
2. I am also looking for photographers to commit to teaching in the 2010-2011 school year.
3. Help with grant writing a fundraising.
4. Help with PR
5. Mentors for the kids
6. Accounting help
7. Building a board of directors
8. Planning and producing a June gallery show
The first volunteer night will be March 30th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. We will give a quick overview of SALT and our goals for this year and then we will have a list of things that you can help us with that night as well as some ongoing projects that you can volunteer with.
The following dates will be volunteer nights until June when we break for the summer:
April 28th (Wednesday) * the 27th is Alicia's birthday
May 25th (Tuesday) - We will be gearing up for the end of the year show and will need a lot of help preparing.
